Sustainability Policy
Purpose
The purpose of this plan is to ensure that CET YAT. İZO. İNŞ. TURZ. SAN. TİC. A.Ş. (VOGUE HOTEL SUPREME) operates with a sense of social responsibility, considers public welfare in its activities, and adopts the mission of leaving a livable world for future generations. With this awareness, supporting environmental, social, and governance dimensions has always been among our priorities. Our sustainability policies aim to outline the fundamental principles and guidelines to minimize the negative environmental and social impacts of both the company’s and its customers’ business and other activities while maximizing positive impacts.
Scope
This plan encompasses all environmental, social, and governance-related areas arising from the operations of CET YAT. İZO. İNŞ. TURZ. SAN. TİC. A.Ş. (VOGUE HOTEL SUPREME).
Principles and Practices
Vogue Hotel Supreme Management recognizes children as individuals, respects their rights, and prioritizes their protection and oversight against all forms of psychological, physical, and commercial exploitation as a primary responsibility. Our sustainability policy is fully integrated with our mission, vision, and strategy. With the active participation of our board of directors, our Sustainability Committee raises awareness about sustainable practices, reviews issues conflicting with our sustainability policies, reports them, and sets short-, medium-, and long-term sustainability goals for improvement. We are committed to continuously improving sustainability practices and regularly sharing these efforts with our stakeholders. We consider the environmental and social impacts of our operations and products. We adopt an active role in promoting low-carbon products and responding to societal demands through sustainability-focused new product development processes. We aim to create a modern work environment that respects human rights, promotes social justice, and continuously improves labor rights, thereby increasing the awareness and consciousness of our stakeholders. We reject all forms of discrimination that undermine equal opportunity, including those based on gender, religion, political beliefs, race, cultural or social background. We consider workforce diversity a fundamental component of our capital. We view our customers as the core of our existence and prioritize a customer-focused approach in all our operations. We have zero tolerance for bribery and corruption, addressing such actions with the severest penalties.
Corporate Environment and Protection
We facilitate the development and implementation of environmentally friendly products and services. Our primary goal, in line with the waste management hierarchy and the Zero Waste Project, is to reduce waste at its source. Where reducing waste to zero is not feasible, all waste is sorted by type and prioritized for reuse or sent to licensed facilities for recycling. Informative notices will be placed within the hotel to raise guests’ awareness of sustainability. Projects will be developed to promote water efficiency, starting with employees and extending to all stakeholders. Our primary goal is to transition all faucets to sensor-based systems. To minimize hazardous waste generated at our facility, we will replace fluorescent bulbs with LED lighting. To ensure more efficient and reduced use of energy resources, we aim to implement energy meters in the production department and conduct necessary studies. We plan to transition to sensor-based lighting systems for energy efficiency.
Child Rights Protection
Vogue Hotel Supreme Management recognizes children as individuals, respects their rights, and considers their protection against all forms of psychological, physical, and commercial exploitation a primary responsibility.
We are aware of the need to protect children from any approach or abuse that could negatively affect them psychologically or physically, and we exercise sensitivity in communication, recognizing them as a group that needs protection. We do not permit child labor in our facilities and expect the same sensitivity from all our business partners. As a family- and child-friendly hotel, we provide environments where children can freely express their thoughts and desires, feel free and comfortable, and contribute to their development. We celebrate their achievements at every opportunity, encourage them, and guide them to strengthen their communication skills. We provide training to all our staff on preventing and recognizing child abuse. Through our child protection guidelines, we strive to be aware of and sensitive to any signs of psychological or physical violence or neglect by parents toward their children and act consciously in such cases. We ensure that children are under adult supervision during activities. We ensure clarity on how to reach parents in environments where children are entrusted. We organize training and support relevant projects to raise awareness about child rights protection. If we witness suspicious actions involving children, we first inform hotel management and, when necessary, seek assistance from the Social Support Hotline.
Local Awareness Protection
As Vogue Hotel Supreme, we are well-acquainted with the geography and local community where we operate, respect historical values and traditions, and strive to contribute to their economic, social, and cultural development.
We support the protection and accessibility of local resources and opportunities. We ensure the preservation of local culture and traditions and do not permit discriminatory activities based on opinions, ethnicity, beliefs, or vulnerable groups. We recognize that visitors, whether for tourism or work, contribute to regional development with their diverse cultures and deserve hospitality. We hold discussions to ensure that local characteristics, sensitivities, and the needs of the local community are considered in decision-making processes. We support the protection of historical and archaeological artifacts. We collaborate with the local community on initiatives to preserve historical and cultural assets and prevent damage to the natural environment. We contribute to the regional economy by promoting local employment and procurement. We support all stakeholders in promoting the region’s cuisine, activities, culture, and traditions (e.g., religious-cultural sites, natural resources, biodiversity) and prioritize training employees on these matters. In our interactions with the local community, we collaborate around shared goals to protect these values.

Employees can report such complaints to their managers or directly to the Human Resources Department. Such complaints are not used against the complainant and are thoroughly investigated and resolved. If Vogue Hotel identifies instances of discrimination, harassment, or mistreatment, it is responsible for applying necessary administrative sanctions to those responsible.
Vogue Hotel Supreme avoids any practices that could lead to unfair competition in personnel recruitment. While there is freedom of contract and action in personnel recruitment under the Labor Law and related regulations, care is taken to ensure that hiring does not disrupt the services of other hotels.
Vogue Hotel Supreme supports women’s participation in the workforce through its current gender-equal HR practices, new hires, and employment of female staff. - As Vogue Hotel Supreme Management, we aim to reduce water, energy, and waste consumption each year through our awareness initiatives.
- We use natural resources responsibly by choosing reusable materials and making procurement decisions accordingly, using recyclable packaging and other materials.
- We establish nesting areas to protect endangered species and encourage guest participation.
- We responsibly use the industry’s energy, including stored energy, prioritize energy efficiency, and promote renewable energy sources.
All employees and collaborators at Vogue Hotel Supreme are obliged to comply with and monitor this policy and report environmental, health, and safety issues to Vogue Hotel Supreme Management. Managers are expected to enforce sanctions when necessary.
Energy Efficiency Policy
As Vogue Hotel Supreme, we aim to use energy as efficiently as possible without compromising existing comfort conditions.
- Peripheral and Back-of-House Areas
- Keep heating, cooling, and air conditioning settings in lobbies, offices, and back-of-house areas at a minimum during low-usage hours.
- Housekeeping Procedures
- Turn off all lights and lower room temperatures to a minimum after cleaning. (Closing curtains when rooms are not in use prevents heat entry in summer and heat loss in winter.)
- Front Office
- Reserve rooms in clusters to heat or cool only occupied sections of the building at the customer’s comfort level. The top floors, corner rooms, west-facing rooms in summer, and north-facing rooms in winter are the most challenging for heating and cooling systems and should be sold last.
- Computers and Office Equipment
- Computer monitors consume two-thirds of a desktop system’s energy. Ensure monitors are turned off when not in use.
- Guest Services Options
- Bed linen and towel changes are made upon guest request, avoiding daily linen changes to promote savings.
- Lighting
- Use compact fluorescent bulbs instead of traditional bulbs for lighting.
- Water Leaks
- Regularly check for potential water leaks in toilets, pipe joints, pump seals, hose heads, valves, and cooling systems.
These are among our primary goals.
